Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct support to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being. This role involves working with individuals, families, and couples to address a wide range of mental health issues, ensuring that all services comply with HIPAA regulations and best practices in clinical counseling. Pay This position is a split W-2 position. Salary range will vary depending on number of clients per week, insurance reimbursement, client payment, etc. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in acute distress. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards as mandated by HIPAA regulations. Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Valid clinical license, as a LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, Medication Management. Experience in direct support roles within mental health settings is preferred. Proficiency in clinical counseling techniques, including crisis intervention and group therapy facilitation. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation; knowledge of ICD-9 is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
