Hostess, Busser, and Food Runner
Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional individuals to join our team as Servers, Hostesses, Bussers, and Food Runners. These roles are vital to providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential. This position offers opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry and a chance to develop valuable customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and manage reservation seating as a Host
Take and deliver food orders accurately as a Server or Food Runner
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
Handle food and beverage service in accordance with safety and hygiene standards
Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and prep tasks when needed
Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and courteous service
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas and service stations
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy hours
Skills
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of food handling, restaurant procedures, and cleanliness standards
Experience in food service, catering, or hospitality industries is a plus but not mandatory
Familiarity with bussing, serving, or kitchen experience enhances performance in this role
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
