Quality Assurance Lead
Job Title: Quality Assurance LeadLocation: Remote (If onsite is required, State offices are located in Montpelier, Vermont)Duration: Long‑term contractPosition Overview -The QA Lead will be responsible for defining and implementing test strategies, coordinating testing efforts across teams, ensuring application quality, and supporting system stabilization efforts in an Agile/Scrum environment.Responsibilities:Plan, design, and execute comprehensive QA strategies and test plans aligned with project requirementsLead and oversee all testing activities including manual, automated, regression, and UATDevelop detailed test cases, scenarios, and test scripts covering functionality, performance, and securityIdentify, document, track, and report defects using defect management tools (preferably Azure DevOps)Work closely with developers, product owners, testers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve qualityFacilitate and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business usersAnalyze test results and quality metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvementsEnsure regression testing is performed for all code changesSupport system stabilization and defect remediation effortsMaintain complete and accurate test documentation and QA deliverablesImplement improvements to testing processes, tools, and best practicesRequired Skills:6–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and TestingStrong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and testing best practicesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsProven experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test casesHands‑on experience with manual and automated testingStrong experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps preferred)Experience testing enterprise‑level applicationsAbility to define test coverage, acceptance criteria, and testing completeness standardsStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple testing activities and meet project timelinesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related fieldMandatory Annual Cyber Security Training (State‑provided)CertificationsRequired - Annual Cyber Security Training (State‑provided; must be completed upon engagement)At Radiant Digital, we provide IT solutions and consulting services to help government agencies and businesses in the USA, Canada, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
