One of my best clients is currently seeking a purchasing supervisor/buyer for their facility located in a rural portion of western Pennsyvania. They are a growing food manufacturer and your expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management directly impacts production success. They are looking for a detail?driven Buyer to manage ingredient and packaging procurement, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure consistent supply for a fast?paced operation. What Youll Do Source and purchase raw materials, ingredients, and packaging Evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and reliability Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs Collaborate with Production, QA, and Finance to support daily operations Track market trends and identify cost?saving opportunities What You Bring Experience in food, beverage, or CPG purchasing Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
