FCL/LCL Export Specialist (Ocean Freight)

As we continue to grow in the U.S. market, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced FCL/LCL Export Specialist to join our team.Position SummaryThe FCL/LCL Export Specialist will be responsible for managing full container load ( FCL ) and less than container load (LCL) export shipments from the U.S. to global destinations, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations, compliance, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute FCL export shipments from booking to final deliveryCommunicate with carriers, truckers, terminals, and overseas officesManage documentation including B/Ls, AES filings, and export complianceMonitor vessel schedules, cut-offs, and transit timesProvide timely updates to customers and resolve operational issuesEnsure accurate billing, cost control, and profitability per shipmentMaintain strong relationships with steamship lines and partnersQualificationsMinimum 25 years of experience in ocean export (FCL preferred)Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations and documentation (AES, EEI, etc.)Experience working with carriers like Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, COSCO, etc.Familiarity with ERP/TMS systems and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced logistics environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with direct services and transshipment planningKnowledge of drayage coordination and inland logisticsMultilingual skills (Turkish is a plus)What We OfferCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceCareer growth within a global organizationCollaborative and dynamic work environment
