CNC Machinist II

Location: Libertyville, ILSalary: $24.00-$30.00As a CNC Machinist, you’ll help drive production excellence by maintaining a clean, efficient, and collaborative environment. Your work ensures minimal downtime, consistent quality, and a culture of growth and stability.As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will:Log time and job data using ERP softwareInterpret work orders, flow sheets, and part drawings to understand job requirementsInspect blueprint dimensions using manual gaugesLoad and verify tools and fixtures; fabricate basic fixtures when neededPull and verify correct materials from staging area per WOPACSet up and operate 3-axis mills and basic 2-axis lathe workUpload/download CNC programs from programmer to machineAlign vices and locate fixture centers accuratelySubmit first article and final inspections to Quality AssuranceRun production parts and conduct in-process inspectionsMaintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principlesPerform daily and monthly machine preventive maintenanceCommunicate with Supervisor to ensure successful job completionSupport all safety and quality system requirementsTake on additional duties as assignedThis is a safety-sensitive positionWe’re looking for a skilled professional who brings precision and pride to their craft: High School Diploma or equivalent.Basic proficiency with ERP software.Minimum 5 years of experience in:CNC MachiningBlueprint readingManual inspection gaugesEditing and writing CNC programsStrong basic math skills: trigonometry knowledge preferred.Ability to stand for extended periods.The salary range for this position is $24.00-$30.00. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
