Ecolibrium3 (Eco3) is a nonprofit organization based in Duluth, MN that works at the intersection of energy, community, and economic development. Eco3 has been nationally recognized for innovative programs that provide on the ground experience for AmeriCorps members. The Ecolibrium3 Energy Training Corps is a direct service program serving as a step into the growing energy workforce and construction trades. Energy Training Corps members will contribute to improving our local housing stock, while gaining hands-on technical skills. As a member, you will be trained to conduct home energy assessments, perform energy improvements, and lower resident utility bills.Further help on this page can be found by clicking here .Member Duties : Recruitment: Recruit Energy Training Corps candidates and households through various channels including community canvassing, recruitment portal, phone, email, tabling events, etc. Energy Assessments: Learn the basic techniques of conducting comprehensive home energy assessments, including the use of diagnostic tools to identify areas of energy loss and inefficiency. Energy Improvements: Learn the basic techniques of performing holistic energy improvement measures, such as air sealing, insulation, and combustion safety analysis. Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in residential energy improvements and jobsite safety. Farming and Disaster Preparedness: Assist in the cultivation of plants for green infrastructure installations and to increase resident food access.
