High Level PCB Assembler

The two open positions will not be open for long.Role ResponsibilitiesAssemble chassis and electromechanical components using various hardware.Perform rework and repair of PCB assemblies, including trace cuts and jumper additions.Hand-solder SMT and THT components to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards .Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and workmanship guidelines.Wire and solder prototypes and complex assemblies of unique designs.Operate equipment such as aqueous cleaners and component placement tools.Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) PCB assemblies per controlled documentation.Assist with wave solder and selective solder processes.Cut, form, and manually place components.Recommend documentation improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.Provide guidance and support to PCB Assembler I & II.Requirements & QualificationsAbility to handle small, delicate components with accuracyAdvanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical documentationStrong component identification knowledgeProven soldering skills meeting IPC-A-610 Class 3 standardsExperience with PCB rework (SMT & THT) and rework soldering equipmentProficiency using SN63, SN96, and HMP solder materialsStrong attention to detail in high-volume, precision-driven environmentsAbility to assemble medium to highly complex electronic assembliesSolid problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesRequired Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years of PCB assembly experience (including rework)Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
