Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

As a Senior SQA Engineer, you will:• Design, document, and execute software verification and validation plans and protocols for embedded systems.• Collaborate with engineering management and software teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality.• Develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated software tests.• Identify, document, communicate, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.• Contribute to internal software standards, processes, and test automation frameworks.• Develop, configure, and maintain test-target environments.• Participate in software reviews at all stages of development, ensuring designs are testable and verifiable.You will be a good fit for the Senior SQA Engineer role if you have:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field• 3+ years of SQA experience in embedded systems development• Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams on test design and coverage• Excellent technical writing skills for creating test plans and protocols• Strong programming/scripting skills for test automation, tool integration, and reporting• Solid background in software engineering with hands-on embedded systems experience• Expertise in testing methodologies and quality metrics• Ability to review software designs and code (C/C++ required) for verifiability• Experience with version control and defect tracking systems• Familiarity with build systems and CI/CD pipelines• Experience with testing tools and frameworksNice-to-Haves:• Experience with JIRA workflow design and implementation• XRAY test management experienceAbout Market Street TalentWe are a specialized staffing and consulting firm focused on IT and technology positions.
