Hospitalist Physician

Location45 minutes from Montgomery and 1.5 hours from Mobile.Coverage RequirementsHospitalist coverage for Nov 25-28 7am-7pm.ER physician coverage for Dec 24, 25, and 31 7pm-7am.ResponsibilitiesManage inpatient census of approximately 17 Med/Surg (includes detox), 5 CCU, and 11 senior care patients, with overnight rounds as needed.Provide solo physician coverage with support of 2 RNs and part-time LPN.Stabilize and transfer trauma patients to nearby facilities.Utilize on‑site X‑ray, CT, and laboratory services; remote radiologist reads all radiology.Maintain EMR documentation and participate in end‑to‑end patient care workflow.QualificationsCurrent Alabama medical license.Controlled Substance and DEA registration.No disciplinary issues.ATLS, ACLS and PALS certification.BenefitsHoliday pay for scheduled shifts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
