No Out-of-Country Sponsorship Available.**PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide positive, quality care for non-skiing children ages two months to 12 years of age in a safe, organized environment. Maintain state licensing policies and procedures for the Child Care Center.ResponsibilitiesFeed, change and supervise children ages two months to 12 years; dress/undress them, making sure all personal items are accounted for; change diapers when appropriateLift and carry babies and toddlersAttend to children's personal needsRecord events of the day for each child; discuss them with child's parentsAssist Supervisors and Leads with various tasks, such as, set up, cleaning, etc.Deer Valley Resort / Utah State RequirementsTB test, fingerprints and complete background check in accordance with state child care licensingTraining for Utah food handlers permitTrained and certified in infant CPR (if applicable)QualificationsMinimum 18 years of ageAt least 6 months of previous work experience with children in private or child care settingsDetail-oriented, patient, enjoy working with children, able to remain calm and positive during stressful times and able to write documentation of children's daily activities for parentsAble to lift at least 30 lbs., be on your feet six to nine hours a day and withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movementsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentDeer Valley Skier Services ExpectationsExemplify a strong work ethicFunction as a team playerInteract with members of Skier Services peer group, instructors, agents and supervisors in a positive and professional mannerInteract positively with other Deer Valley Resort employeesCommunicate any suggestions or concerns to manager in a timely mannerSpeak and act professionally while on dutySupport and follow Deer Valley Resort policies and procedures and Deer Valley Employee Handbook guidelinesBe a good example to those around you with a positive, supportive attitudeDates Of Employment12/03/2026 - 4/19/2027Pay RatePay: $20.00 per hourDeer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
