Job Details Specialties: Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional Radiology Department: Radiology Start Date: 06-10-2024 End Date: 06-14-2024 Schedule Shifts: Monday - Friday Additional Coverage Dates: July 15 - 19; and July 22 - 26 Responsibilities As a General Radiologist, your responsibilities will include: Conducting basic Interventional Radiology procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC Line preferred) Performing 3D mammography and holding Automated Breast Ultrasound certification Reading whole-body MRI with confidence Handling General Nuclear Medicine (VA, HIDA, bone scan) with PET/CT (8-10 procedures) Total number of readers: 130 - 175 exams (depending on ED volume) Additional responsibilities include approximately 25-35 CT scans, 7-10 MRI, 12-15 mammography, and 15 ultrasound procedures Credentialing Requirements Board Certification: Not required Minimum Board Certification: Eligible Active License in VA: Yes Additional Details EMR System: MediTech Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Inpatient and Outpatient Required: Yes Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges: Required Stroke Certified Facility: Yes Estimated Credentialing Timeframe 30 days Why Choose This Opportunity?
