A large, complex operating business is seeking a Senior Finance Director to lead financial strategy, reporting, and performance management for a significant division. This role serves as a key business partner to senior leadership and operations and carries visibility at the executive levelThe ideal candidate brings deep accounting, FP&A, and cash flow expertise within a large, manufacturing or products‑based environment and has demonstrated success leading teams, supporting operations, and driving financial discipline at scale.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial ReportingOversee full divisional accounting operations, including month‑end close, balance sheet integrity, and reconciliationsEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRSLead audit coordination, internal controls, and risk mitigation activitiesProvide oversight of AP, AR, and accounting teamsFinancial Planning & AnalysisLead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes aligned with corporate objectivesPrepare and present financial analyses, dashboards, and variance reporting to senior leadershipIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision‑makingCash Flow & Commercial FinanceOwn cash flow forecasting and working capital management across projects and operationsReview project‑level cash flow models to ensure liquidity and financial disciplineSupport product costing, margin analysis, and profitability optimizationBusiness Partnering & Operations SupportAct as a strategic finance partner to operations, supply chain, and capital project teamsSupport CAPEX planning with ROI modeling, financial analysis, and performance trackingDrive cost control initiatives and operational efficiency improvementsLeadership & Strategic DevelopmentLead, develop, and mentor finance teams across the divisionProvide executive‑level support and insight for regional and strategic initiativesDemonstrate readiness and capability to serve as a successor to the Regional CFOQualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in finance roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.Senior finance leadership experience at companies with $500M+ in revenue, preferably within a manufacturing or products‑based environmentStrong accounting and financial reporting expertise, including audits, internal controls, and balance sheet oversightProven FP&A background encompassing budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance managementDemonstrated cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization experienceStrong commercial acumen, including product costing and margin analysisAdvanced financial modeling and analytical skills with strong Excel proficiencyERP experience required (SAP preferred; M2M a plus)Education & CredentialsBachelor’s degree in Finance or AccountingCPA, CMA, or MBA required
