Job DescriptionBlueWave is hiring a Business Analyst for a leading enterprise client with headquarters in Orlando, Florida 32801. As a Business Analyst you will work as a liaison between business and technical partners to elicit, analyze and evaluate user needs to guide system solutions that support overall business strategies. The Business Analyst defines scope and objectives and documents system requirements that drive system development, testing, and implementation.Responsibilities:Perform as a liaison between IT and business unit(s)Collect and review requirements using various elicitation techniques (e.g. interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business, and workflow analysis). Document appropriate level of requirements based on the initiative needsGain consensus on requirements from all impacted partnersIdentify process improvement opportunitiesAssist in any business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology and for enhanced technical solutionsAnalyze operations to understand their strengths and weaknessesBalance multiple priorities and initiativesDevelop a requirements management plan for a program or project as requiredCoordinate requirements work for large initiatives across multiple teams with other Business Analysts when necessaryBuild and maintain effective relationships with members of upper/senior managementProvide subject matter expertise for strategic decision makingReview and provide constructive feedback on Statement of Work documentsInterpret architecture documents/roadmapsSupport projects/initiatives beyond direct assignments Provide subject matter expertise and directionSupport and guide other Business System Analysts I and II’sSupport all downstream consumers of requirements to ensure understanding and ability to execute against the requirements delivered Work with Business Stakeholders, Architecture, PMO, QA, UAT, and IT to manage change across all requirement deliverables Perform other duties as needed Assist with candidate interviewsAssist with onboarding of contractorsRequirements:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or more than 7 years of Business Analyst experience. Advanced Analytical SkillsExcellent Facilitation SkillsExceptional knowledge of businessProficient Time ManagementExcellent Verbal Communication with peers, direct management, and executivesKnowledge of various SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and AgileProficient Wire FramingExcellent Writing SkillsExcellent writing requirements documentationProficient in Creating Graphical Models including Process FlowsExcellent Listening, Comprehension and Information Processing SkillsStrong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various levels within the organization including Senior ManagementStrong ability to recognize and apply, business and systems analysis best practices to fit a variety of situationsStrong ability to communicate stakeholder’s rationale for decisions made and possible outcomes for those decisions. Ability to professionally challenge decisions and/or strategies made by the project team as appropriate. Possess specific and extensive expertise relevant to the business unit(s)Ability to actively analyze and make recommendations for improvement to business processes. Knowledge of business principles and best practices common to the vacation ownership/hotel and hospitality industryIncreasing knowledge and comprehension of the business architecture of the organization being analyzed including business models, structure, relationships between business units and key stakeholders of those units. Proven ability to manage requirements work for large initiatives, including coordinating work across multiple teams, supporting multiple Business Analysts, etc. Ability to resolve ambiguity and drive team towards decision making. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with diagramming tools, preferably with MS VisioAbility to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to job responsibilitiesExperience using various modeling techniques to visually represent requirementsMinimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst & Experience working with multiple business users at various levels in an organization and in remote locations.
