Lab Technician - Histology - Entry Level

They are now hiring for an entry-level Lab Technician with hands-on experience in histological techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tissue processing and sectioning along with molecular biology techniques.Schedule: 32 hours a week, Flexible between Mon-Fri 8a-5pType of Job: 4 month contract; likely to extend up to a yearResponsibilitiesPerform histological procedures, including tissue fixation, embedding, sectioning, and stainingPrepare and analyze tissue samples with a high degree of accuracy and consistencyConduct nucleic acid isolation (DNA/RNA) from various sample typesPerform and analyze qPCR assays, including data interpretation and reportingMaintain accurate laboratory records and documentationFollow established protocols and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development activitiesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related fieldHands-on experience with histological techniques, particularly tissue sectioningExperience with nucleic acid extraction and qPCR assays preferredThis job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
