Covenant Financial Group helps our clients analyze their current situation, develop in-depth financial programs, and help them implement an integrated financial strategy.Position Description Location of Position: Reedsburg, WIHours: Monday-Friday, in office dailySalary Range: $60,000-80,000Benefits: Simple IRA after one yearAs an Associate Financial Advisor, you’ll be a resource for our financial advisors and provide support to the clients of Covenant Financial Group, including:Position Roles/Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesEnter client information into various systemsPrepare and update financial plans and presentation material for client meetingsEnter information into financial planning software and prepare draft financial plansDeepen and maintain existing client relationships through processing of client requests, resolving client questions, and making sure client information and documentation are up to dateResearch and respond to client inquiriesFinalize, submit, and track all client account and application paperworkGather and maintain customer suitability informationAssists Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for client meetingsUpdates and maintains client information in several planning tools, including Salesforce, MoneyGuide Pro, Morningstar, and othersCompletes electronic and paper service forms and new business applicationsMay fill out and sign Variable Life/Variable Annuity/Mutual Fund/Brokerage applicationsMay accept and/or enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade ordersMay sit second chair in meetings to take notesMay handle all post meeting tasksOther responsibilities as assigned by the Lead AdvisorPosition QualificationsSatisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicablePrevious financial services experience desiredSecurities (7/66, or 7/63 & 65) and Life, Health, and Annuities registration requiredDemonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 3+ years preferredAbility to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.Basic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial.CompetenciesPlanning/OrganizingAnalytical thinkerCustomer FocusCommunicationInterpersonal SkillsTeamwork and CollaborationAdaptability/FlexibilityExternal/Internal DependenciesMust be able to work with all roles of the Covenant Financial Group.Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients.Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations.As part of Covenant Financial Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process.
