This role plays a vital part in improving member health outcomes by coordinating administrative activities that support medication access, provider engagement, and quality improvement programs.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced California-licensed Pharmacy Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced remote environment and has strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outbound outreach to members, providers, and pharmacies to support medication access and care gap closure initiatives.Coordinate follow-up activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.Fax documentation and communications to providers and pharmacies.Maintain accurate records and documentation within multiple systems.Manage reporting spreadsheets and track workflow activities using Microsoft Excel.Support pharmacist interventions and quality improvement initiatives.Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal teams to ensure efficient member support.Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining productivity and accuracy.Assist with administrative processes that contribute to HEDIS and quality performance goals.Required QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Pharmacy Technician training completed in California.LicensureActive California Pharmacy Technician License required.ExperienceMinimum 3 years of pharmacy experience.Experience communicating professionally with members, providers, and pharmacies.Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.Experience working with multiple computer applications and Windows-based systems.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience.Managed care or health plan experience.Experience supporting quality improvement or HEDIS initiatives.Experience working with pharmacy claims systems and clinical care management platforms.Technology & Systems ExperienceExperience with the following is highly preferred:Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft OutlookMicrosoft TeamsPharmacy Claims SystemsTruCareOmniTop Skills for SuccessProfessional communication with members, providers, and pharmacies.Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.Ability to efficiently navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is:Personable and confident when speaking with members and providers.Comfortable performing high-volume administrative and outreach activities.Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills.Able to manage complex, multi-step workflows while maintaining accuracy and productivity.Work EnvironmentFully remote position for California residents only.Collaborative and supportive team environment.Structured workflows with clear productivity and quality expectations.Opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare initiatives that improve member outcomes.Interview ProcessVirtual interview via Microsoft Teams (camera required).Candidates should be available for interviews and able to start as soon as onboarding requirements are completed.Important RequirementsMust reside in California.Must possess an active California Pharmacy Technician License.Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.No third-party or subcontracted candidates will be considered.Apply today if you're a motivated Pharmacy Technician looking to make an impact through healthcare quality initiatives while working remotely.
