Principal Responsibilities:Camp Kef is seeking a responsible, safety-focused, and dependable Driver to provide daily transportation for campers to and from camp. This position includes both morning pick-up routes and afternoon drop-off routes, ensuring campers arrive safely, on time, and ready for a positive camp experience.The ideal candidate is punctual, calm under pressure, enjoys working with children, and prioritizes safety above all else.Camp Kef at the Kaiserman JCC is an award-winning, premier Jewish Day Camp dedicated to providing a high-quality, well-rounded summer experience. We serve campers from infancy through 10th grade and emphasize universal Jewish values including kindness, community, spirit, and respect. Camp Kef is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.Minimum Qualifications:Responsibilities:Morning Responsibilities:Safely pick up campers from designated stops or homesEnsure timely arrival at campConduct pre-trip vehicle safety checksMaintain accurate attendance and communicate absences to camp administrationCreate a warm and welcoming environment for campers at the start of their dayAfternoon Responsibilities:Safely transport campers from camp to designated drop-off locations or homesVerify camper check-in/check-out proceduresMaintain clear communication with camp staff and families as neededConduct post-trip vehicle checksGeneral Responsibilities:Follow all traffic laws and safety regulationsMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle including filling gas when lowImmediately report any incidents, concerns, or delays to camp administrationModel positive behavior and professionalism at all timesAttend required staff meetings and training sessionsQualifications: Minimum of 21 years oldClean driving recordHold a valid PA state driver's license (standard license is ok)Experience driving or working with childrenHours and Compensation:Working hours: Morning Shift 7am - 9am Afternoon Shift 3pm - 5pmSummer salary starting at $23/hourCamp Kef Mission and Values: Camp Kef embraces all campers, and fosters friendships, growth, and lasting memories in a community of Kindness (chesed) and Spirit (ruach).Our guiding organizational values are rooted in Jewish tradition and inform how we deliver our mission.
