We expect candidates to come with hands-on experience and a solid foundation - we'll invest in taking your skills even further.What You'll DoYou'll work as part of a skilled crew on residential shingle roofing projects in the Melville, NY area - tear-offs, installations, and repairs. You'll be expected to show up on time, follow and enforce all safety protocols, mentor less-experienced crew members, and deliver quality results that keep our customers coming back.What We're Looking For2+ years of hands-on residential shingle roofing experience requiredStrong knowledge of roofing safety practices, PPE, and fall protectionAbility to read and follow work-related documents and instructionsReliable, punctual, and able to work Monday-SaturdayA team player who takes quality and safety seriouslyMust be able to perform physically demanding work - heavy lifting, extended time on rooftops, and outdoor conditions year-round Our Commitment to SafetyAt A-1 Roofing, safety isn't a checkbox - it's a core value.
