Datacenter Technician
About the RoleWe are hiring Data Center Technicians (L1 & L2) to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.This role is open to both:Entry-level candidates looking to break into data centers (L1)Experienced technicians with hands-on hardware experience (L2)You’ll be responsible for supporting server and network infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring reliable operations across the site.ResponsibilitiesInstall, rack, and deploy server and network hardwarePerform hardware troubleshooting and component replacementsSupport cabling (copper/fiber), labeling, and connectivity checksAssist with network troubleshooting and basic diagnosticsMonitor systems and respond to operational ticketsEscalate issues to senior technicians or engineering teams as neededMaintain accurate asset tracking and documentationFollow standard operating procedures in a 24/7 production environmentQualificationsFor L1 (Entry-Level)Associate’s degree, certification, or equivalent hands-on experienceStrong interest in data centers, IT, or hardwareBasic understanding of computer hardware or networkingWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environmentFor L2 (Experienced)~1+ year experience in a data center or similar environmentExperience troubleshooting server hardware (POST, BIOS, etc.)Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, switches, cabling)Familiarity with Linux (basic commands/navigation)Ability to work independently and prioritize tasksPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience with hardware, IT support, or infrastructure environmentsExperience in high-availability or production environmentsStrong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detailExposure to large-scale or hyperscale data centersShift12-hour shifts4 days on / 4 days offRotating day and night shiftsAdditional InfoThis is a hands-on, onsite role in a live data center environmentCandidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active settingOpportunities for growth into more advanced technical roles
