This role focuses on dimensional inspection, microscope-based analysis, and product certification in a fast-paced production setting. The technician will work closely with quality and operations teams to ensure products meet internal and customer specifications.Compensation and Hours for the Laboratory TechnicianFull-Time, Onsite$22 to $25 per hour based on experience1st and 2nd shift openings available2nd shift will train on 1st shift for approximately 2 to 3 monthsTemp to hireRequirements of the Laboratory TechnicianPrior experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or lab-based workAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerancesExperience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gaugesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection proceduresAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with microscope inspection or lab equipment preferredExperience in metals, machining, or manufacturing environments preferredFamiliarity with quality systems or inspection documentation is a plusResponsibilities of the Laboratory TechnicianPerform dimensional, visual, and microscope-based inspections on parts at various stages of productionEvaluate products against blueprints and tolerance requirements to ensure complianceSupport customer certification inspections and quality-critical ordersAnalyze material structure using microscope equipment to identify defects, porosity, or anomaliesRecord and document inspection results accurately within required systemsUse inspection equipment including manual gauges and vision systems as neededComplete product and process audits based on established quality proceduresSupport quality investigations and corrective action efforts as requiredAssist with sorting, rework, and production support activities when neededMaintain inspection equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenanceWork with quality and operations teams to support production goals, reduce scrap, and meet customer expectationsAssist with system transactions related to quality processes when required
