Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

- We are seeking Senior Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform to join an existing engineering team. This is a hands-on implementation role, not a consulting or advisory position.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and securing foundational infrastructure, enabling scalable and compliant deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS)
- Configure and manage AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, IAM, etc.)Implement secure networking, including firewall rules and VPC configurations
- Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Define and enforce IAM roles and access control policies
- Ensure platform meets security and compliance requirements (especially for regulated/government environments)
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to accelerate delivery timelines
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in platform engineering (flexible to 5+ for exceptional candidates)
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Kubernetes (EKS preferred)AWS Cloud Services
- Terraform (IC-level expertise)
- Proven experience in platform engineering / infrastructure setup
- Solid understanding of:
- Cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, firewalls)IAM and security best practices
- Experience building secure and compliant environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-impact delivery environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on government or highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
- Prior experience in greenfield platform builds
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
