In this role, you'll combine relationship‑building, strategic thinking, and commercial insight to help expand our presence and impact across the US West Coast.About The RoleIn this regionally based position, you will focus on building new business opportunities while nurturing long‑term partnerships with existing customers. Working closely with a global Business Development team and cross‑functional colleagues, you'll contribute to sustainable revenue growth and help shape future business development strategy.Key Responsibilities IncludeIdentifying, pitching, and securing new partnership and licensing opportunitiesManaging and growing relationships with existing partners, including renewals and upsell activityRepresenting the organisation at partner meetings, industry events, and conferencesCollaborating with Editorial, Legal, Product, and Technology teams to develop compelling partnership proposalsSupporting negotiations for pilot programmes and licensing agreementsMaintaining accurate records of outreach, pipelines, and active agreements using internal systemsProviding regular reporting and market insight to inform forecasting and planning This role involves periodic travel within the US, primarily across the West Coast. Other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.About YouYou will bring strong interpersonal and business development skills, with experience in partner management, sales, or business development, ideally including work with partners and markets across the U.S. West Coast. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven negotiation experience, and be comfortable preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and licensing agreements, as well as pitching confidently to clients. You are able to identify market trends, build lasting relationships, and successfully close deals. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience), proficient in CRM tools and the MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), and comfortable working independently. This role requires the ability to travel as needed, including attending offsite meetings and events, and holding a valid driver's licence.RequirementsIf you meet the above minimum requirements, we encourage you to apply.
