Systems Integration/Test Engineer

These roles focus on systems analysis, interoperability testing, and integration efforts across evolving air traffic infrastructure, including transition support for the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) network.This position operates primarily in a coordination and liaison capacity, working across engineering teams, stakeholders, and test organizations to support integration and testing activities rather than performing hands-on system development.We are currently looking for experienced candidates to join our team onsite at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.Key ResponsibilitiesApply systems analysis techniques to support hardware, software, and communications integrationCollaborate with users and stakeholders to define system functional and communication requirementsSupport interoperability testing and system integration into the Operational NAS utilizing the FTI (FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure) National Test Bed (FNTB)Participate in the transition, integration, and testing of FTI and FENS testbedsSupport FAA Test Process activities, including: Architectural Review Board (ARB)Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)Common Message Handling Protocol (CMHP)Connectivity TestingInteroperability TestingSupplemental Form TestingDegraded Operations TestingSupport testing efforts for both NAS and Non-NAS programs requiring data exchange with the FAA NASAssist in system validation, troubleshooting, and documentation throughout the integration lifecycleMid-Level Engineer:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)35 years of experience in systems integration, testing, or related fieldFamiliarity with system interfaces, communications protocols, and test processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSenior Engineer:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)16+ years of experience in systems integration, interoperability testing, or complex system environmentsDeep understanding of system architecture, integration strategies, and test methodologiesProven ability to lead technical efforts and collaborate across teamsPreferred Qualifications Experience supporting FAA programs or National Airspace System (NAS) environmentsKnowledge of FNTB, FTI, or FENS networksFamiliarity with CMHP and related communication standardsExperience participating in ARB or technical review boardsSEMCON offers a competitive salary and complete benefits package which includes health benefits (medical, dental, vision, and life), 401K with a generous employer match, paid time off, and paid holidays.Compensation details: 50000-120000 Yearly SalaryPI003a656dfc0d-26289-40257882
