Job DescriptionMaterial Handler - 1st & 2nd Shift1st Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 6 AM - 3:15 PM & Friday, 6 AM - 12 PM2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday, 3 PM - 1:45 AMOff at NOON every FRIDAY!Train on 1st ShiftStarting Pay: $15.50/hour1st and 2nd shiftPosition Summary: To serve as a materials resource in all phases of the Parts Cage area.Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:Stock all incoming materials in their proper locations.Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventories of material.Pre-Kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies.Count reels via x-ray machine or reel counter.Reconcile Parts.Tape and reel parts as needed via Tape & Reel machine.Assist people who need parts or supplies.Bake parts per quality department instructions.Performs other duties as assigned.Interpersonal Skills:Takes responsibility for the quality of one’s individual work.Demonstrates accuracy and neatness in their work.Co-operative and dependable, highly motivated, and trustworthyRespects and works effectively with fellow team members.Will notify Team leader if team is not following Quality processes.Will present new ideas and improvements to Team Leader.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching, and lifting of materials.Equipment: Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.Work Environment: Job functions will be performed in & around production, warehouse, and offices.
