Retail Leads gain valuable leadership experience while helping create memorable guest experiences in one of the most dynamic retail environments in San Antonio.Responsibilities: Retail Leads play an essential role in supporting the daily operation of our retail locations. This is a working leadership position responsible for guiding team members, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining high operational standards. Retail Leads are expected to lead with integrity, demonstrate strong communication skills, and represent the values of Six Flags Fiesta Texas through their professionalism and example.Operational and Guest Experience ResponsibilitiesSupport daily retail operations within an assigned store or merchandise locationProvide assistance with sales, guest engagement, and merchandise presentationMaintain cleanliness, product organization, and visual merchandising standardsAssist with point-of-sale transactions and guest inquiriesEnsure adherence to all safety procedures, retail policies, and cash-handling guidelinesServe as the first level of escalation for guest questions and concernsSupport restocking, inventory rotation, and product replenishmentLeadership ResponsibilitiesLead with integrity, respect, and professionalism in all interactionsServe as a role model by demonstrating excellent guest service and work habitsAssign tasks and responsibilities to retail team membersOversee employee breaks and ensure proper shift coverageProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and support for new and existing team membersMaintain an inclusive, positive team environment and encourage open communicationOffer constructive feedback and recognize team members for their contributionsHelp team members understand how their role impacts the overall guest experienceTake ownership of responsibilities and ensure completion of assigned dutiesSupport the ongoing development of the team and cultivate a high-performing environmentQualifications: Strong guest service, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead peers in a fast-paced retail environmentBasic understanding of point-of-sale systems and cash-handling proceduresAbility to multitask while maintaining store standardsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as neededAvailability to work weekends, evenings, and holidaysOTHER NOTESThis position performs additional duties as assigned to support the park's overall success.Reports to the Retail Supervisor.
