ERP Systems Analyst I

Summary of Primary Functions: Lead the optimization efforts of the company using its ERP and ancillary systems. This person has a holistic view of business operations and how these operations align with ERP systems functionality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Develop, plan, and implement the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Determines scope of the project. Set deadlines, assigns responsibilities and monitors progress for the ERP system. Lead the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration. Creates system guidelines and manuals for the organization. Facilitate training sessions and workshops on system processes. Conduct regular audits of systems and generation of reports to both ensure standard practices and identify areas of improvement. Evaluate and recommends changes to current and future ERP system requirements to meet organizational needs. Control solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with software engineers. Ensure operations by training personnel; providing support for ERP related processes as the key point of contact for ERP users. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Job Specifications or Qualifications: Certificates, Licenses, Registration: 6 Sigma; Green Belt is a plus. Education: 4-year college degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Accounting, Management, or related discipline Experience: 2 (+) years of experience; Hands on experience in an organization where systems software is the primary focus. Travel Required: 25% Working Environment: Although this is primarily and office position, time spent in outdoor manufacturing environment will expose employee to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
