Welder - 2nd Shift

YBI Recruiting is hiring 2nd Shift Welders on behalf of one of our premier manufacturing partners-an industry leader that designs and builds equipment powering the nation's infrastructure. From utilities to telecommunications and other essential services, this organization is known for American-made quality, craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to community impact.Key Responsibilities:Fabricate, fit, and cut materials to meet design and blueprint requirementsPerform GMAW and/or FCAW welding using a range of arc and gas welding equipmentTrim, file, grind, sand, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces with hand and power toolsOperate and maintain all equipment within the assigned work areaLay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using shop math and layout techniquesInspect assemblies and components to confirm they meet required specificationsRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders accuratelyUtilize basic hand tools and specialized equipment as neededPerform rework on components when necessaryKeep daily time records and complete any other required documentationCross-train and assist in other work areas as production demands requireProvide training and support to new and existing team membersFollow all safety, environmental, and quality protocols, including proper use and care of PPEMaintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for tools and equipmentUphold company core values in all work activitiesRequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDWelding technical degree/certificate or a minimum of 2 years of relevant welding experience (candidates in progress may be considered)Must obtain AWS D.1.1 weld certification within three months of hireAbility to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematicsAbility to read, write, and understand written instructions and materialsBasic proficiency with computersBenefitsCompensation Range: $25.15 - $28.23 + $1.50 shift differential!
