Contract Administrator

No C2C / No Visa SponsorshipPosition Description:The Contract Administrator is responsible for contract and procurement services that will support our client’s IT business effort. They will manage the entire life cycle of small to moderately sized contracts, including working with customers and suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, and contract administration.Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and negotiate standard contract agreements and documents, to include teaming, non-disclosure, contract, subcontract, and other vendor agreements with moderate supervision. Identify distinct contract requirements, provisions, and terms and conditions for flow down to subcontractors and vendors. Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual requirements. Generate and negotiate change orders and modifications with appropriate supervision. Resolve issues with customers, subcontractors, and vendors as needed. Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Respond to purchase requisitions by defining and justifying the expense. Maintain approved vendor list through verification that they are not listed on the Excluded Parties List (EPL) or the Denied Parties List. Support company proposal efforts as necessary, including scheduling proposal kickoff, pricing, and other review meetings, assisting in subcontractor and vendor participation, and assisting in preparation, organization, and filing of proposal documentation. Maintain procurement policies and procedures. Ensure all procurement files are compliant. Maintain all documents, reviews, awards, and contracts in an organized, detailed, and centralized filing system. Uphold open lines of communication with program managers, finance, and customers as required. Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree Typically, 3-5 years of experience in contracts/proposal administration is required. Experience conducting negotiations. Experience with SAP and OpenText would be added advantage. Some procurement or project admin experience would be very good to have Good communication skills
