USPS Subcontractor – Mail & Package Delivery Driver Starting November 15th 2025 Location: West Liberty , KY Schedule: Monday through Saturday, starting at 7:30 AM until route completion (average 4–6 hours per day) Pay: $125 per day (paid per completed route) Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor About the Position We are seeking reliable and responsible individuals to deliver letters and packages as a USPS subcontractor. You’ll be assigned a designated route and will be responsible for sorting and delivering mail using your own personal vehicle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and serving their community. Responsibilities Sort and deliver mail and packages accurately and efficiently along your assigned route. Maintain professional and courteous conduct while representing the USPS subcontractor team. Handle all mail and parcels with care and confidentiality. Follow all USPS safety and delivery procedures. Report any delivery issues or delays promptly. Requirements Must provide and operate your own reliable personal vehicle. Maintain phone service while in route. Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a USPS background check, including fingerprinting and driving record submission. Must be able to lift and carry packages (up to 100 lbs). Reliable smartphone for GPS and communication. U.S. work authorization. Compensation & Schedule $125/day, Monday–Saturday (approximately 303 working days per year). Average route duration: 4–6 hours (varies by mail volume). Independent Contractor (1099) position — you are responsible for your own taxes and vehicle expenses. Time off requests may be made at least 1 week in advance (unpaid). Training No prior experience: 3 days of unpaid training provided. With prior USPS or mail route experience: 1 day of shadowing required to verify experience.
