MEP Construction ManagerFond Du Lac, WIFull Time, Permanent & OnsiteJob DescriptionSummary/Objective:To ensure that the highest quality of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) construction work is in accordance with project specific cost and schedule requirements.Essential FunctionsLiaison between MEP subcontractors, team, clients, design teamDevelop project specific MEP scopes and responsibility matrixesSecure and review subcontractor proposals and change ordersGuide value engineering process for MEP systems and assist design and ownership teams with decision making to maintain project budgets while minimizing scope impactsLead MEP subcontractor scoping and submit recommendations to awardIdentify early procurement items and guide expedited release process if required to maintain project scheduleParticipate in all design meetings through completion and assist with handoff to PM/VDC team to manage any outstanding constraints and clashesManage design constraint log to maintain design and project scheduleEstablish design checkpoints and review for compliance, quality, and scope accuracyProvide periodic cost updates including review and justification of any cost changesAssist with developing phasing plans and construction sequencingMediate conflicts relating to MEP tradesAssist in the testing, commissioning, and Owner training of MEP systemsRequired Education And ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
