Part-Time Dentist – General DentistryMadison, Wisconsin | 0.6 FTE (24 Hours/Week) We are seeking a Part-Time Dentist to provide routine general dentistry services in a well-supported clinical setting serving adult and juvenile patients. This opportunity offers a flexible weekday schedule and focuses on restorative and preventative dental care in a collaborative environment.The Dentist will perform intake evaluations, assess x-rays, develop treatment plans, and provide general dental procedures including restorations, fillings, extractions, and other routine dental services. Limited denture prosthetics and occasional root canals may also be performed.This role works alongside a part-time dental hygienist and dental assistant in recently renovated dental suites equipped to support high-quality patient care.Schedule:Part-time, approximately 24 hours/week (0.6 FTE)Flexible weekday schedule (examples: 7:00am–3:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm)No Fridays preferred3–5 month contract assignment with potential for future full-time opportunityResponsibilities:Conduct dental intake evaluations and review diagnostic x-raysDiagnose and treat routine dental conditionsPerform restorations, fillings, extractions, and general dental proceduresProvide preventative and ongoing dental care for adult and juvenile patientsDevelop treatment plans and document patient care appropriatelyCollaborate with dental hygiene and support staff to ensure quality patient careMaintain compliance with infection control and clinical standardsQualifications:DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental programActive Wisconsin dental license or ability to obtain licensureExperience in general dentistry requiredComfortable performing restorative procedures and extractions independentlyStrong communication and clinical assessment skillsExperience in public health, correctional, behavioral health, or community dentistry settings preferred but not requiredPreferred Skills:Ability to work independently in a structured clinical environmentStrong diagnostic and patient care skillsExperience working with diverse patient populationsAdaptability and flexibility in a team-oriented setting
