Whether you're passionate about food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, or operating kitchen equipment, your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. *Duties* * Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and menu plans * Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and dishwashers * Follow food safety standards in handling, storage, and preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations * Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly * Support the culinary team in meal preparation for various service settings such as dine-in, catering, or special events * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service * Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs *Experience* * Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering services, or dietary departments is preferred * Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments * Demonstrated ability to handle food with proper hygiene practices and use knife skills for slicing and prep work * Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques is advantageous * Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean work environment * Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members * Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus for understanding specialized food needs This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while supporting a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
