Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to support our bustling nightclub and hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders and staff by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth operation during busy night hours. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly within a vibrant nightlife setting. Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred, but a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are essential. The position involves working primarily during night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware efficiently throughout the shift
Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces to uphold health standards
Support food preparation tasks as needed, including handling light food prep or plating for events or service areas
Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from customer areas promptly to ensure a clean environment
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions when required
Help with setup and breakdown of event spaces for banquets or private functions within the venue
Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed according to industry standards
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Experience with food handling, bussing, or serving in a nightclub or banquet setting is advantageous
Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of cleaning procedures relevant to food and beverage service areas
Ability to work night shifts including weekends and holidays; flexibility is essential
Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and team spirit
Prior kitchen experience or hotel experience can be beneficial but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
