Bindery Operator We have an immediate opening for a Bindery Operator position at our facility in Waterloo, IA. Job Responsibilities Include: Determines printing job requirements by reviewing job specifications and assessing requirements for operation completion Sets up and uses various bindery machines for tasks involving sets of printed material, pamphlets, and other finishing operations of business forms and general printing Checks for quality, counts and other operation requirements Input information on computer for job/operation completion Supports shipping operation by wrapping/packing boxes, labeling, and preparing for carrier pickup using shipping software Other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Experience working in a print production facility or shop preferred Experience operating bindery equipment strongly preferred Mathematical aptitude/skills are required and mechanical skills are helpful Must be quality conscious with good organizational skills Able to efficiently follow workflow process to minimize downtime and repeated steps Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs This full-time position would primarily be scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Starting hourly base pay between $16-$19 commensurate with experience and the opportunity for two pay increases in your first year!
