Material Processor Lead (Day/Night/Weekend Shift)
This job is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.This is an onsite role in our Irving, TX facility.This job posting is part of our ongoing efforts to build a strong talent network for current and future opportunities. Working knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)Participate in daily stand-up meetings with SupervisorParticipate in internal and external customer or vendor meetingsWork with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goalsWork with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achievedPoint of contact for employees for handling escalation issuesWork with Engineering to identify and resolve process issuesAbility to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibilityTrack and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposesParticipate with the 6S Audit team on monthly 6S auditsWork with supervisor to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor as a result from the auditsForklift certified if needed for area of responsibilityPerform on-the-job (OJT) refresher training and workstation assessmentMonitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for specific area of responsibilityMonitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues/concerns to supervisor when neededAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employeesMust be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leadingCompile and analyze dataComplete daily reportsTrain and coach associates as needed What are the requirements needed for this position? High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 year of previous light manufacturing experience or 1 year of previous Inspector experienceProficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectationsStrong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management and organizational skills What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
