Structural Engineer

We are seeking qualified Structural Engineers to join our dynamic design team. This posting encompasses opportunities for both Mid-Level Structural Engineers and Senior/Lead Structural Engineers. The successful candidates will execute comprehensive structural analysis and design, collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams, and contribute directly to the delivery of complex technical facilities.Rank and title will be evaluated and determined based on candidate qualifications, depth of experience, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.Core ResponsibilitiesExecute conventional and complex aspects of structural engineering analysis and design for traditional steel and concrete structures with a high degree of technical accuracy.Perform lateral analysis and design (wind and seismic) in strict accordance with relevant governing standard codes and regulations.Develop design concepts and collaborate closely with Structural Leads, Engineers, and Designers to ensure accurate translation of structural requirements into model and project documentation.Conduct thorough quality control reviews and calculation checks of peer engineering deliverables.Manage assigned scope of work to ensure strict compliance with project schedules, budgets, and technical quality standards.Proactively identify scope changes and technical ambiguities, escalating findings appropriately to Project Managers and Discipline Leads.Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers and design personnel.Contribute to the advancement of discipline workflows, integration of emerging technologies, and optimization of design tools.Senior Level: Serve as Lead Structural Engineer for medium-sized projects or Sub-Lead for large-scale capital projects, taking full responsibility for scope forecasting, level-of-effort planning, and team leadership.Required QualificationsUniversal Requirements (All Levels)Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE / PEng) license.Technical Standards: Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC, with demonstrated proficiency in seismic provisions.Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with industry-standard structural engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.Technical Skills: Proven experience in the analysis and design of conventional steel and concrete structures.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, paired with strong interpersonal skills.Sponsorship: Applicants must possess current, unrestricted work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Experience Level StandardsMid-Level Structural Engineer: Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in structural engineering analysis and design.Senior / Lead Structural Engineer: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, including a background in scope management and technical oversight.Preferred QualificationsMaster of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Master of Science in Structural Engineering.Structural Engineer License (SE).Prior engineering experience within advanced technology (semiconductor) or heavy general industrial facility design.Demonstrated leadership experience guiding small-to-medium design teams.Employment DetailsRegion: United States Southwest Region (Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, or Utah residency required).Work Arrangement:Hybrid: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the Phoenix, AZ office are required to work on-site two (2) days per week.Remote: Candidates residing outside the 50-mile radius from the Phoenix office will operate in a fully remote capacity.Infrastructure: Remote employees are required to provide reliable, high-speed internet service necessary to support engineering applications and virtual collaboration.
