Position TitleConstruction Manager - CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural)About This OpportunityWe are building the leadership team for a large-scale semiconductor FAB campus project in West Lafayette, Indiana, supported by the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act.The Construction Manager will take direct ownership of all civil, structural, and architectural construction activities, managing site superintendents and subcontractor teams to ensure safe, on-schedule, and on-budget field execution.This is a senior field leadership role. You will plan and supervise CSA work fronts, coordinate multi-trade subcontractors, and maintain accountability for quality, safety, and schedule performance across all assigned scopes.This role reports directly to the Site Manager and the SKEP management team.What You’ll DoPlan, direct, and manage all CSA (civil, structural, and architectural) construction activities across assigned work fronts, ensuring safe and efficient field execution at all timesDirectly supervise site superintendents and subcontractor field teams; establish clear performance expectations and maintain accountability for daily progressCoordinate multi-discipline work sequencing across civil, structural steel, concrete, and architectural scopes running concurrently; resolve trade conflicts before they impact scheduleMonitor field progress against baseline schedule and budget; identify variances early and develop corrective action plans in coordination with the Site ManagerEnsure compliance with project-specific construction standards and applicable codes including IBC, AISC, ACI, NFPA, and OSHA requirementsEnforce site HSE policies and zero-accident culture across all CSA contractors and trade partners on siteManage subcontract field administration including change orders, technical queries, and claims documentationPrepare and deliver regular field progress, cost, and risk reports to the Site Manager and project leadershipCoordinate with MEP and other discipline managers to resolve interface issues and maintain integrated schedule performanceSupport commissioning and system turnover activities for CSA-related scopesQualificationsEducation Requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience Requires 15+ years of experience in large-scale industrial or complex construction projects, including 5+ years in direct field supervisory or management rolesProven field management experience in at least two of the following CSA disciplines: earthwork and foundations, underground structures, structural steel erection, precast or cast-in-place concrete, or architectural finishes within an industrial or infrastructure projectDemonstrated experience directly managing site superintendents and multi-trade subcontractor teams across concurrent CSA work frontsHands-on experience managing subcontract field administration including change orders, RFIs, and claims documentationExperience managing union craft workers under Building Trades Agreements; working knowledge of CBA provisionsProficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tool; experience with BIM or project management platformsOSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (required at time of offer)Strong written and verbal English communication skills for field reporting and cross-functional coordinationPreferred QualificationsPrior experience on a semiconductor FAB, advanced manufacturing facility (battery, pharmaceutical, display), or large-scale infrastructure megaproject ($500M or above)Experience in an Owner, CM, or PMC capacity on a major capital projectFamiliarity with semiconductor or high-tech facility construction requirements such as cleanroom structure, vibration-controlled slabs, or specialty foundationsAdvanced Work Packaging (AWP) field implementation experienceProfessional certifications (PMP, PE, CCM, or equivalent)Experience working with a Korean owner or client organization; Korean language ability is a plusProven ability to work effectively in multicultural and multinational project environmentsCore CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills across complex multi-trade field environmentsField-oriented leadership with the ability to direct and motivate large subcontractor workforcesCommitment to safety and quality under aggressive construction schedulesHigh level of ownership, resilience, and accountability throughout long-duration projects
