Job Title: Phlebotomist II Job Location: Trion, GA Job Duration: 7+ months (possible extension) Shift: Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 04:30 pm (EST). Pay Range: $20.86 - $22.35/hr on W2 Position OverviewThe Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the public-facing representative of the company, interacting directly with patients during routine visits and important healthcare decisions. The role involves performing skilled and accurate blood collection (phlebotomy), specimen processing, and ensuring a professional, safe, and supportive patient experience.The PSR II is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accuracy in all patient-related information and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily assigned tasks accurately and within required timelinesMaintain a safe, clean, and professional work environmentCollect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established proceduresVerify patient identity and demographic information prior to specimen labelingEnsure patient signatures and proper tube labeling are completed in patient presenceMaintain accurate records and required documentationCommunicate effectively with patients, staff, and supervisorsProvide a positive, professional image to patients and the publicWork independently with minimal supervision while following protocolsHandle multiple priorities in a high-volume settingTravel and work across multiple locations as neededRequired QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)Phlebotomy certification preferred. Work Experience:Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.Keyboard/data entry experience.
