Summer 2026 Technology Assistant JobID: 551 Position Type Support Staff Date Posted 5/18/2026 Location District Date Available 07/06/2026 Closing Date 07/17/2026   Additional Information: Show/Hide Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer REPORTS TO: Manager of Information Technology LOCATION: District QUALIFICATIONS Careful attention to detail, punctuality, decorum in the schools responsibility for working alone or on a team with specific assignments Valid New Jersey driver's license and own transportation preferred Must be able to lift 25 pounds and assist with the installation of various technology equipment; Basic understanding of computer components Basic understanding of network operations Must provide dates that the applicant is able to work JOB GOAL: To assist the Technology Department in preparing Chromebooks, laptops, and other technology in the district for the upcoming school year. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Moving and unpacking computer equipment Performing inventory of all technology-related equipment such as chromebooks Familiarity with basic PC hardware, Chromebooks, and iPads Installing software on laptops Cleaning technology equipment Assist with cable runs for internet access. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT 32 hours maximum per week scheduled from July 6, 2026, through August 27, 2026, at $18/hour.
