Redshift ETL Developer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and work on healthcare data projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ETL process design and cloud-based data solutions. This role involves developing and optimizing data pipelines in AWS Redshift, Airflow, and Fivetran, as well as integrating data across multiple environments such as Azure and BigQuery. Requirements
5+ years of experience with BI and Data Warehouse development
Strong practical experience in designing and implementing ETL processes
Practical experience with AWS Redshift (data modeling, optimization, SQL development)
Hands-on experience with Airflow and Fivetran (or similar orchestration/integration tools)
Experience with AWS environments
Strong skills in SQL and performance tuning for large datasets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Participation in enterprise-level data projects
Good written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate)
Will be a plus
Experience in migration from third-party ETL tools to custom data integration solutions
Experience with Azure and Google Cloud environments
Experience with other BI and visualization systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Cognos BI)
Experience with different cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
Understanding of Data Lake and modern data architecture concepts
Responsibilities
Design and implement ETL processes for data integration from multiple heterogeneous sources (6–10 systems)
Develop and optimize SQL/ETL pipelines in Redshift, Airflow, and Fivetran
Participate in migration from third-party ETL tools to in-house data ingestion solutions
Integrate and synchronize data flows between Redshift, Azure, and BigQuery environments
Build and maintain data models for Power BI reporting
Conduct performance tuning and data quality improvements
Write test scenarios and validate developed ETL subsystems
Support troubleshooting and assist in resolving critical issues and data inconsistencies
