Senior Financial Analyst, G&A

Our DC-based client has a track record of hiring Big 4 senior auditors and promoting them to Manager, Director, even CFO. This is an amazing team of fun, motivated professionals who value life outside the office.RESPONSIBILITIES:Working with the Assistant Director and Corporate Controller, prepare SEC Filings (annual 10-K, quarterly 10-Q and other periodic filings).Complete the month-end close process for specific line function - G&A and corporate activities.Complete the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.Research technical accounting and reporting topics.Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the Director of Finance and Controller. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 2 years of corporate finance and/or public auditing experience.BA/BS in business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.CPA with public accounting experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.Expert proficiency with Excel.Life Sciences is a plus.
