Electromechanical Assembler/Direct Hire

*Electromechanical Assembler/Direct Hire* *Location: Cockeysville, MD* *Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hourly (depending on experience)* *Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Full-Time (Monday - Friday)* *Job Overview for Assembly Technician Position:* * Assemble cell pairs and modules in accordance with approved design data to include procedures and drawings * Assemble a variety of products ranging in volume from unique single piece units to repetitive hundred unit runs * Occasionally communicate and work with engineering to assist them in developing robust assembly processes * Perform rework on assembled components based on written and verbal direction * Complete build documentation records, both written and electronic, with a high level of precision and accuracy * Perform Quality Assurance functions to include visual inspection, dimensional verification and document review * Ability to work on live cells, modules and batteries * Strong mechanical aptitude * Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits * Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings and process specifications * Ability to operate various hand-tools and numerous other manufacturing equipment * Good interpersonal and organizational skills * Able to adapt quickly to new methods and techniques, to learn quickly and can work independently or as part of team *Qualification:* * Prep and assemble components, wires, and assemblies per work instructions * Use mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics to complete assemblies and installation * Inspect, install, and test various components with various test equipmeent or tools * Read and interpret testing results * Work with engineering to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues * Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks * Must properly identify parts and inspect for quality or performance issues * Meet daily production targets and schedule * Able to pass a background and drug test Ability to Commute: * Cockeysville, MD 21030 (Required) Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Ability to Commute: * Cockeysville, MD 21030 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Cockeysville, MD 21030: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
