You step in with purpose.Here's what it takes to succeed with us.2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or import operationsExperience processing entries using ABI/ACE systemsStrong knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. import regulationsExperience coordinating with government agencies (FDA, USDA, etc.) preferredFamiliarity with brokerage platforms such as CargoWise, Descartes, or similar systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume entriesExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsLicensed Customs Broker (not required but highly valued)Experience handling high-volume import entriesKnowledge of anti-dumping / countervailing duties and special regulatory filingsBilingual English/Spanish a plusKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and transmit customs entries through ABI/ACE systemsReview commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy and complianceClassify imported goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)File and manage ISF (10+2) filings and entry summariesCoordinate with CBP and Participating Government Agencies (FDA, USDA, Fish & Wildlife, CPSC, etc.)Monitor shipment status and resolve customs holds, exams, or documentation issuesCommunicate with importers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely clearanceMaintain compliance documentation and support post-entry corrections when requiredEnsure all entries meet regulatory and company compliance standardsWhy This Role?Because you deserve more than just another job.
