All roles are expected to contribute to quality initiatives, teamwork, and exceptional customer service, including professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, and empathy.đ©ș Position SummaryThe Medical Equipment Delivery Technician is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, installation, and setup of medical equipment at healthcare facilities. This role includes handling mobile imaging equipment, Rbâ82 Infusion Systems, and associated computer workstations. The position directly supports patient care by ensuring equipment is delivered, installed, and operational according to regulatory and safety standards at hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and other healthcare institutions.đ Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policiesPerform preâ and postâtrip vehicle and equipment inspectionsLoad, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper handling and safety proceduresInstall and set up equipment onsite, including:Following clean technique when required (training provided)Connecting and configuring basic computer hardware and softwareConducting functionality and siteâreadiness checks to ensure equipment is in âreadyâtoâscanâ mode when requiredComply with DOT, NRC, OSHA, and HAZMAT regulations, including proper documentation (BOL, van surveys, wipe surveys; training provided)Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation and required records in a timely mannerMaintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, equipment, hub locations, and customer facilitiesPerform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance (fluids, fuel, oil, etc.)Maintain facility security and follow afterâhours access protocols when applicableImmediately report equipment, vehicle, or facility issues or damage to leadershipCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, and managementProvide courteous, empathetic customer service to support customer satisfactionWork flexible schedules, including long routes, overnight travel, and schedule changesMaintain a clean driving record and adherence to company safety standardsWork independently and assist with training or instructing coworkers as needed â
Required QualificationsValid driverâs license with a safe driving record (no serious incidents within the past two years)Ability to work independently and manage changing schedulesWillingness to drive long distances, work overnight hours, and travel 1â4 nights per weekStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform moderate physical laborBasic computer setup and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory complianceâ Preferred Qualifications3+ years of Class II driving experienceHAZMAT training related to radioactive materialsExperience with medical equipment transport, loading, or maintenanceđ ïž Working ConditionsRequires manual dexterity, handâeye coordination, and fine motor skillsModerate physical exertion, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reachingEquipment may weigh up to 1,000 lbs.
