Core Java Developer

Overview In this role you will develop and maintain core Java applications and microservices within a fast-paced team. You’ll work on high-performance, latency-sensitive systems and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software. The position emphasizes Java expertise, RESTful design, and modern tooling to drive scalable solutions. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role that shapes critical backend capabilities within the organization. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data or similar frameworksDesign and implement REST APIs and ensure adherence to HTTP principlesWork on high-performance, low-latency code with focus on concurrency and data structuresCollaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile, CI/CD practicesUtilize NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB) and Oracle PL/SQL in application data layersUse version control (Git) and tools like Jira/JUnit for development and testingEngage with containerization and cloud platforms to deploy and operate servicesHandle integration with messaging systems like Apache Kafka Key requirementsStrong expertise in Core Java 17 / Advanced Java and OOPProficiency in data structures, multithreading, and concurrencyExperience with DRUID or low-latency codingHands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQLExperience with microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring DataKnowledge of Jira, JUnit and Apache Kafka is mandatoryHands-on with NoSQL DB (CosmosDB, MongoDB)In-depth knowledge of REST API principles and HTTP protocolFamiliarity with containerization tools and cloud platformsSolid grasp of Git, CI/CD, Agile principlesCore Java 17 / Advanced JavaOOPData structuresMultithreadingDRUID / low-latency codingOracle PL/SQL
