Overnight Camp Counselor (Camp SOCIAL)
Location: Camp SOCIAL– In affiliation with the Carruth Center at The Parish School. Camp is hosted at Camp for All in Burton, TX.Position Type: Seasonal / OvernightPay: Counselors receive one lump sum payment at the end of the camp.Dates: July 5 – July 10, 2026About Our ProgramCamp SOCIAL is overnight camp dedicated to supporting children and teens ages 8 - 16 with speech, language, and learning differences. Our program provides a supportive and fun environment where campers participate in regular sleep-away camp activities while building confidence, independence, and social skills.Position OverviewWe are seeking compassionate, flexible and responsible camp counselors to provide direct care and supervision for campers in an overnight setting. Counselors play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive camp experience.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise campers throughout daily activities and overnight in assigned cabinsSupport campers with varying speech, language, and learning needsAssist with daily living activities, routines, and transitionsFoster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environmentCollaborate with fellow staff to ensure camper safety and well-beingRespond appropriately to behavioral or emotional needsAdditional Role ConsiderationsCounselors are assigned to cabins based on camper needs.
