Title - Network EngineerLocation - San Jose, California, United StatesWe are seeking a skilled M&A Network Engineer to support network assessment, integration, and optimization during mergers and acquisitions. This role involves designing, deploying, and supporting network solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesAssess, design, implement, and support network infrastructure solutionsGather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network performance and reliabilityCreate technical documentation (designs, diagrams, procedures)Participate in client and internal technical discussionsPlan and execute network-related projectsTrack hardware/software orders and manage CAPEX requestsKey Requirements10+ years of network engineering experience (enterprise environment preferred)5+ years leading projects or mentoring engineersStrong knowledge of routing, switching, security, and network designExperience with SDN (Cisco ACI, VMware)Hands-on with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network securityExpertise in tools/technologies like Cisco (Nexus, UCS, ISE), F5, Palo Alto, QoSGood documentation and communication skillsKnowledge of network automation and troubleshootingScripting skills are a plusFlexibility to work off-hours when requiredCompensation and BenefitsA candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
