Wellness Coordinator (Appleton Area School District)

The Appleton YMCA is hiring a part-time Wellness Coordinator to support our partnership with the Appleton Area School District. As a YMCA Wellness Coordinator, you’ll bring the passion & values of the Y to AASD staff & educators. Create, develop and implement health promotion programming, invigorate healthy lifestyles and teach our educators about personal fitness & goals. Work closely and collaboratively with the Appleton YMCA Wellness team, setting up everyone for success! This is a part-time (est. 25 hours/weekly) role with a flexible summer schedule and career growth opportunities. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Prior personal training certification and fitness instructions is preferred but not required. Outstanding interpersonal & customer service skills including a high-level of written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and multi-task within busy work environment.
