DevOps Engineer

Job Description: DevOps engineers streamline the software development lifecycle to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality. Engineer will work closely with development, architects, operations and security teams to identify and improve process pain points and inefficiencies for delivery. Good working knowledge of Concourse CI/CD Event Driven Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, etc) Strong SQL query knowledge Observability (Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana & Thanos) Git (Branch, Rebase, Merge, Tag, etc) RDBMS and NoSQL (MySQL, Postgres, Dynamo etc) Networking (UDP, TCP, Routing) AWS (EKS, Sage Maker, EC2, S3, Lamda, Cloudfront) Public Cloud (AWS preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability as a problem-solver Working knowledge in security and performance Working knowledge in CI (continuous integration) Working knowledge of CSS pre-processors ie: LESS, SASS Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applied experience. 2+ years of relevant DevOps experience. 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
